Arvato will be helping to recognise some of Slough’s most talented, inspirational and hardworking young people at an upcoming awards ceremony.
We will be sponsoring the Slough Youth Awards on Thursday 2nd November, where our Head of Talent, Development and Resourcing, Carl Rayner, will also announce the winner of the Young Inspiration Award. The award recognises a young person who has overcome a challenge, difficulty or disability and has inspired others in the process.
The annual awards ceremony aims to celebrate and highlight young people’s hard work. The event takes place at The Curve from 7.00pm until 9.30pm and will feature performances showcasing the amazing talent of local young people.
We’re committed to developing young talent at Arvato and since 2012 we’ve helped over 120 apprentices into work. We were also included in the Government’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer List in 2017, which recognises organisations with the highest standards of excellence in employing apprentices.
Carl Rayner, said: “As a local employer, supporting young talent in Slough is very important to Arvato, so I’m proud that we will be sponsoring these awards and presenting the Young Inspiration Award. I’m looking forward to hearing the stories of Slough’s inspirational young people and wish all those who are shortlisted the best of luck on the night.”
