Arvato’s learning and development experts are supporting Relias Learning with their initial e-learning offering for the UK’s health sector.
Relias Learning was acquired by Arvato’s parent company Bertelsmann in 2014, as part of its strategy to invest in education as one of its core business ventures. Relias offers a learning management system and e-learning for employees in multiple healthcare disciplines, such as senior care, behavioural health and care for the disabled. It has over 4,700 institutional clients and offers more than 2,800 different online courses reaching over 2.75 million learners worldwide.
Relias is the market leader in the US, delivering interactive, high quality e-learning courses that engage learners, save substantial time and cost, and help organisations deliver a higher standard of patient care. Here in the UK, Relias is focused on ensuring its e-learning packages are built for NHS organisations. The first round of courses focus on the implementation of the Care Certificate standards for health care assistants and the statutory mandatory training required for all health and social care workers. This first phase of 28 courses will be ready for release in April of 2016.
Deanna Roepke, Managing Director of Relias Learning UK said, “We are thrilled to release our first courses for the UK this month. With this initial product offering, we’ve brought together Arvato’s 20 years of expertise in the UK health sector with Relias Learning’s 15 years of healthcare focused e-learning experience to create a training experience that can measurably impact NHS organisations and their staff. We look forward to collaborating with Arvato on future courses.”
