48 Arvato employees from across our five public sector sites have taken part in a series of Tough Mudder challenges all over the country.
The events tested participants’ stamina and mental grit, over a 10-12 mile obstacle course, which combines over 500,000 litres of mud with 40 tonnes of ice. The challenge puts camaraderie over finishing rankings, focussing on team work rather than winning.
Zoe Kalinowski, Charity Coordinator, CRM Solutions, Arvato UK & Ireland commented: “We couldn’t be prouder of our employees for participating in the event and also for their commitment to raising money to support The Prince’s Trust. For many it proved extremely challenging and was so far out of their usual comfort zone.”
“The fantastic amount raised will support The Prince’s Trust to help young people in the UK overcome their struggles and develop their skills and confidence to enter into the world of work and find their place in society.”
Arvato became a patron of The Prince’s Trust in January 2014 and supports the charity’s programmes by running apprenticeships, which create mentoring and training opportunities to help young people find work. Arvato employees also take part in traditional fundraising and volunteering schemes.
