Test Team Lead (Ref: 3)
We currently have a great opportunity for someone to join the team as a Test Lead, a role which takes primary responsibility for managing the end to end test phases of one or more releases. You’ll be responsible for analysing the content of the release to select appropriate test scripts from the existing library or write new test scripts for new or changed functionality, planning out the schedule of tests, and then leading coordination of testing with our own and our customers’ testers throughout the test phase. You’ll also write meeting minutes and produce reports and statistics.
Ideally you’ll have a good understanding of how testing is undertaken, and be familiar with HR, Payroll, Finance or Procurement back-office services. You’ll need to be comfortable liaising with internal and external customers, leading test related meetings, and will have great written and verbal communication skills. Having an organised and structured approach to your work is also important.
You will be joining the team during a really exciting period of significant change. We are currently continuing to deliver changes on our existing systems while in parallel supporting testing for a major programme of work to deliver the new systems onto which our customers will migrate over the coming years, and which will provide their services for many years to come.
