Arvato achieves re-certification of Cyber Essentials Plus

6th January 2022 · Arvato · News

We have been awarded the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials Plus certification again for the second year in a row, which demonstrates that we meet the requirements for delivering secure services to our public sector clients.

The standard assesses against the security controls linked with many common cyber-attacks on organisations, including secure configuration, malware protection, patch management, access control, boundary firewalls and internet gateways.

Cyber Essentials Plus

The Cyber Essentials Plus assessment is completed by a qualified, independent assessor who examines and tests with technical security controls simulating common cyber threats. It’s a more in-depth assessment than the one already completed for our Cyber Essentials certification, which also assures our security position.

Maintaining this certification ensures we meet the mandatory level of assurance that is required for supporting Government services.  In 2020, we also achieved the Cyber Essentials accreditation for our Corporate IT and Contact Centre Support Services, demonstrating that our entire client offering is secure and robust.

David Thomas, IT Director, Arvato CRM Solutions said:

Achieving recertification of Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus over a period where there have been significant changes to our operating model, is a success for all teams involved. This further demonstrates Arvato’s commitment to the security of our technical solutions to both new and existing clients.

We remain committed to delivering IT solutions that are secure and resilient by design and in compliance with industry good practice, to treat the risks associated with cyber threats.
