Our ‘Countdown to 2030’ external marketing and communications campaign has been named as a finalist in the ‘Best lead generation or nurturing campaign’ category at the 2021 B2B Marketing Awards.
Now in its 16th year, the B2B Marketing Awards recognises the most innovative, creative and forward-thinking business-to-business campaigns of the past year. The lead generation category celebrates work that has made the biggest impact in initiating or nurturing new business leads.

‘Countdown to 2030’, developed in collaboration with communications agency, Citypress, was launched in 2020.
The integrated campaign marked the first-time businesses in the electric vehicle ecosystem came together to openly discuss the customer experience (CX) challenges of an electric future.
The campaign kicked-off with an exclusive live industry forum, hosted by award-winning motoring journalist and transport campaigner Quentin Willson and attended by a host of industry experts, including our clients.
Together, they debated the challenges of the electric transition and the role that customer experience will play.
Following the forum, we launched a new digital content hub, ‘ArvatoTalks’, to host industry reports and analysis informed by the issues discussed.
The centrepiece was ‘The Countdown to 2030’ report with commentary from Quentin Willson and interviews with experts from the AA, LKQ Euro Car Parts, and Lloyds Banking Group, providing further insight on the challenges and opportunities for the sector.
Naomi Turner, Head of Marketing and Communications at Arvato CRM Solutions, said: “This campaign achieved exactly what it set out to do – facilitating discussion on the customer experience challenges of the EV transition, and demonstrating how Arvato, with its technology, experience and expertise, can support businesses and their customers through this change and beyond.
“These challenges are constantly evolving, and we already have more activity underway to build on this campaign’s momentum.
“It’s an absolute privilege to make it into the shortlist of such a prestigious awards. We’re eagerly awaiting the announcement of the winners, and wish the best of luck to all that have been nominated.”
This is the second time this year that the ‘Countdown to 2030’ campaign has been nominated for a leading accolade. In April, the campaign was named as a finalist for the ‘Automotive & Transport Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year’ category at the 2021 PR Moment Awards.
The winners of the 2021 B2B Marketing Awards will be announced at a live ceremony in London on the 24th November.
