ArvatoTalks automotive campaign in the race for top PR Award

27th April 2021 · Arvato · News

Our ArvatoTalks ‘Countdown to 2030’ external marketing and communications campaign has been named as a finalist for the ‘Automotive & Transport Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year’ category at the PR Moment Awards 2021.

The awards recognise outstanding work and exceptional talent from across the UK’s PR and communications sector, with the automotive and transport category celebrating innovative campaigns specifically covering all forms of transportation.

We launched our ‘Countdown to 2030’ in collaboration with PR company, Citypress in March 2020. Businesses in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem had never before come together to openly discuss customer experience challenges. We designed a compelling integrated campaign that facilitated this discourse, providing a sector-wide view on the UK’s electric future with contributions from leading opinion-formers, and positioning the business at the centre of the debate.

The campaign involved an exclusive, live industry forum compered by motoring influencer Quentin Willson, which brought together Arvato’s clients and wider industry experts to debate the challenges of the electric transition, and the role that customer experience will play.

For the content development phase, we launched ArvatoTalks – a new digital content hub – to provide a platform for the campaign’s thought leadership, which was informed by industry issues uncovered from the forum. This included a 16-page report ‘The Countdown to 2030’ with commentary from Quentin Willson, and interviews with industry leaders from the AA, LKQ Euro Car Parts and Lloyds Banking Group, as well as six subject matter expert blogs, which provided guidance and solutions to the issues discussed. All of which were activated through a phased, targeted LinkedIn campaign.

Naomi Turner, Head of Marketing & Communications, Arvato CRM Solutions said: “We’re proud to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and it demonstrates the significant impact our campaign has had on positioning Arvato as a lead voice on delivering customer experience in the electric future and a key part of the solution for businesses as they strive to build loyalty with customers.

“The campaign has already delivered a series of successes, including 100% of event attendees stating they would recommend another ArvatoTalks forum to their peers, over 100 report downloads and 155,900 impressions across our owned and partner social media channels. We’re looking forward to continuing to build on this and have some exciting new automotive initiatives planned for 2021 and beyond.”

The awards ceremony will take place virtually on Thursday 27th May – find out more here.

Good luck to all of the finalists and fingers crossed!
