‘Be 100% You Every Day’ internal communications strategy shortlisted for top HR award

Our ‘Be 100% You Every Day’ internal communications and engagement strategy has been named as a finalist for the ‘Best Internal Communications Strategy’ category at the HR Excellence Awards 2020.

The awards, now in their 25th year, are the longest running awards in HR. They celebrate individuals, teams and organisations that are excelling in people strategy. The internal communications category recognises the most innovative strategies that address an important business issue and have already proven to be successful in the medium to long term.

We launched ‘Be 100% You Every Day’ in January 2019 to create a unified identity that resonated with employees across all of our locations and client partnerships and to define what it meant to work for Arvato. This involved various new initiatives from a dedicated employee awards programme and new Q&A platform, to an image-led marketing campaign launched through vinyl stickers, posters and photo frames for employees to personalise – all with a distinct tone of voice and visual identity.

It also included The Big Debate, a forum where a panel of employee representatives discuss business strategy, new ideas and initiatives directly with our CEO, Debra Maxwell, and HR Director, Sally Neale. These topics are shared with the group in advance of the session, empowering them to seek feedback from their teams, ensuring their voices are heard at the highest level and help to shape the business’ response to key issues.

Naomi Turner, Head of Marketing & Communications, Arvato CRM Solutions said: “We’re proud to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award. It demonstrates the significant impact our ‘Be 100% You Every Day’ strategy is having on being able to more effectively reach, resonate and engage with our employees, especially in a year when this is proving to be more important than ever.

“The strategy has already delivered a series of successes, including a 15 per cent increase in the number of employees who would recommend Arvato and a 10 per cent increase in motivation across the business. We’re excited to continue to build on this momentum and have a number of exciting new initiatives in the pipeline for the rest of this year and 2021.”

Other successes include a 408 per cent increase in participation for Arvato’s employee ‘Pulse’ survey, over 6000 votes for the new ‘Be 100% You’ employee awards since their launch and 71 per cent of employees being aware of all of our various internal comms channels.

The winners will be announced at a virtual awards ceremony on Tuesday 26th January – find out more here.

Fingers crossed and good luck to all of the finalists!
