We have been shortlisted in the apprenticeship diversity category for the Annual Apprenticeship Conference (AAC) Awards, which aim to recognise outstanding achievements by employers and providers across the UK.

The awards, which are supported by FE Week and the Association of Employment and Learning Providers (AELP) and now in their third year, will be announced at the AAC on Tuesday 3rd March 2020 in Birmingham.
The shortlisting follows the company winning the ‘Employer of the Year’ accolade at the 2019 Asian Apprentice Awards in late October, with the judges praising Arvato’s programme for its commitment towards diversity and inclusion.
The award win and recent nomination showcases Arvato as one of the best in the industry for supporting young BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) communities with their career journeys and the company is proud that it exceeds the Southeast Apprenticeship BAME employment rates. The apprentice scheme’s retention rate stands at 88.2% and since its foundation in 2012, 144 entry-level apprentices have taken part, with 80% of those reaching the end-point assessment stage achieving distinctions.
In addition to the programme, the business encourages its apprentices to attend careers fairs and speak to students in schools to raise awareness of the benefits of apprenticeships to inspire the next generation. Arvato’s trainees regularly fundraise for local causes, which includes a ‘diversity day’ held in Slough that raised over £1000 for The Prince’s Trust and the Penny Appeal.
Sally Neale, HR Director, Arvato CRM Solutions, said, “This is a great time to reflect on the achievements this year has brought which highlight our ongoing commitment to supporting youth employment and championing inclusion and diversity. We’re very proud to be shortlisted for yet another award and to see our programme go from strength to strength.”
