Arvato has been shortlisted for the Asian Apprenticeship Awards, which aim to showcase the range of talent and hard work within the BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) communities. The winners of the Awards will be announced at a spectacular awards event in Birmingham on Thursday 31st October 2019.
The categories we have been named as finalists for include:

- Apprentice of the Year: Vikas Khan, HR and Recruitment
Judges Choice, sponsored by Pathway Group
- Apprentice of the Year: Aleena Khan, Finance
Now in its fourth year, the Asian Apprenticeship Awards, celebrate and showcase the best of British Asian Apprentices and the people that employ and train them, and puts a spotlight on a generation of role models for young people to emulate.

Vikas Khan, former HR and Recruitment Apprentice, Arvato CRM Solutions UK, who has now secured a permanent position working as a Customer Services Representative for one of our automotive clients commented,
“I’m thrilled to be shortlisted for another apprenticeship award. The programme truly prepped me for the role that I’m in now and I’m having a fantastic time working with people from different backgrounds and gaining further experience and new skills.”
Aleena Khan, Finance Apprentice, Arvato CRM Solutions UK also said,
“As a young British Muslim, I always thought that opportunities would be limited for me. However, my goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant is coming into fruition through my apprenticeship at Arvato, and I’m so grateful for all the learning opportunities provided to me. Through these awards, I hope to inspire other young people from ethnic backgrounds to follow their dreams! Nothing’s impossible.”
Arvato was included in the AllAboutSchoolLeavers Top 100 Employers for School Leavers in 2018 and the Government’s Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers list in 2017, which recognise high standards of excellence in employing apprentices.
Arvato’s apprentice programme has supported over 150 young people since its initiation in 2012, helping them to develop key employment skills and take their first step on the career ladder.
