Arvato UK & Ireland’s Business Development Director will speak to delegates at the Global Sourcing Association’s (GSA) Public Sector Conference about the vast potential Robotic Process Automation (RPA) holds for driving transformation in the public sector.
Debbie Nolan will explain what RPA is and how the technology can help government organisations address their challenges, as well as talking attendees through best practice implementation and the success of this at Sefton Council, one of Arvato’s local government partnerships.
The event, now in its second year, will take place on Thursday 23rd March in London and will focus on the challenges the sector faces in delivering a customer-first, digital public service.
In 2015, Sefton became the first local authority to implement Arvato’s RPA solution, ProcessAutomate, in its revenues department. The project highlighted the significant potential of the technology and its compatibility with the local government back office setting, delivering considerable increases in processing speed and freeing up employees to focus on business critical tasks.
Debbie commented: “While RPA has been widely adopted by UK businesses in a range of industries from finance to automotive, there are few government case studies which illustrate the true value an agile, virtual workforce can offer.”
