Arvato CRM Solutions’ Head of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Mike Stewart, will discuss the benefits of the technology for the public sector at this year’s Shared Services Conference.
Mike will cover RPA’s applications in a shared services environment and the successes Arvato has achieved implementing the technology through its partnership with Sefton Council.
Arvato will also be a sponsor of the event and host an exhibition-stand for the second year in a row. The conference brings together public sector experts to discuss how government organisations can save money and deliver efficiencies through shared services.
In 2015, the Council became the first local authority to use Arvato’s RPA solution to automate processes in the revenues department. Mike will explain how this was implemented and the back office efficiencies achieved that led the project to be nominated for two prestigious awards.
Mike commented: “RPA is now being used widely by the private sector, but we know it also has the potential to revolutionise vital back office functions in the public sector, freeing up frontline staff to focus on complex tasks that require a more human touch.
“This conference provides a great opportunity for us to show how the successes we’ve achieved in our partnership can be replicated for other local authorities and we’re looking forward to meeting public sector leaders from across the UK to tell them more.”
The conference will take place at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in London on June 15th.
