In 2010, Chesterfield Borough Council became one of the first district councils to outsource services by agreeing a 10-year partnership with arvato, described as ‘truly pioneering’ at district council level.
While delivering more digital transformation in citizen-facing services has become crucial, transforming internal processes in a similar fashion is also key in addressing budget pressures and efficiency challenges in local government.
