Bertelsmann included on 2008 Value Added scoreboard
Bertelsmann has been included on the Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS) 2008 Value Added scoreboard.
The list, made up of 800 UK and 750 European companies, analyses the overall scale and growth of 'Value Added' – which is the value of a company's sales less the cost of its bought-in goods and services.
The scoreboard provides a broader perspective on the companies' economic contributions and examines the efficiency with which Value Added is created by UK and other European companies.

The 2008 Value Added Scoreboard was published on Monday 9 June 2008 in collaboration with the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR).
