Stefan Gläser

The financial operations of arvato UK and Ireland are headed up by Stefan Gläser, who has 11 years of experience working in the Bertelsmann Group. Stefan has extensive experience in finance related matters including accounting, financing, strategic planning, risk management and controlling. He has facilitated various M&A transactions, provided major operational and strategic support to numerous business projects and is an experienced capital markets expert.

Since 2007, Stefan has held full responsibility for the financial management of arvato’s UK and Ireland based activities. Working closely with Matthias Mierisch, he has successfully facilitated the set up of new businesses, portfolio adjustments and the reorganisation of the arvato UK group. He also supports arvato’s global BPO activities.

Stefan joined Bertelsmann AG’s corporate finance team in 2000 and in 2005 he moved to the group strategy department as Senior Director Group Controlling and Strategy.

Stefan studied economics at the University of Münster in Germany. He enjoys running and skiing.
