Mark Brown

Managing Director, Contact Centres and Loyalty

Mark joined arvato in 2007 to lead arvato’s contact centre, loyalty and customer retention business in the UK. Mark is responsible for the delivery of customer-focused, loyalty-inspiring and revenue-generating front- and back-office programmes on behalf of leading global brands.

Under Mark’s leadership, arvato’s contact centre business has grown by over 40% in the last three years. arvato has rapidly climbed Marketing’s Contact Centre League tables in recent years, moving from 15th place in 2008 to third place in the 2012 rankings.

Mark has established contact centres in the UK, Germany, Poland, Belgium and India, and set up a debt management operation in Germany. He has an impressive track record in raising client revenues, reducing operating costs and improving contact centre agent retention.

Mark has worked at the highest level in the BPO arena for over 14 years. Prior to arvato, Mark held the position of Managing Director for SITEL in UK and in Germany. Mark started his career by spending 10 years with RCI Germany.

Mark holds a degree in Modern Languages and Politics. He is interested in history and current affairs, rugby and football, hill walking, keep fit and cooking. Mark is a keen supporter of Burnley Football Club.
